Are you a camel…?

You need to start drinking more water .  About 50% of you is made of water!  But if you do not drink enough on a daily basis, you sure to be storing water in your tissues to compensate for the fact that you are not consuming enough.
Seen a camel?  Thats you. And don’t think your body does not do the same exact thing!!!  So to avoid looking like a bloated beast crossing the sahara your body needs to trust you.  Yes it needs to trust that you will consistently give it enough water on a daily basis before it stops storing it!  How much should I drink  you ask?  Well  it depends on your size the weather and your daily activity but safe to say between 2 and 4 liters!!!
One way to make this more easily palatable as well as to alkalinize your body is to add a squeeze of fresh lemon to your water.  Yes Yes i know lemon and citric ACID are acidic , but lemon juice actually  processes in your body as ALKALINE and is an easy way to keep your body in a more alkaline state generally.  This is important on the most basic cellular level because our cells are in essence tiny batteries – ones which operate optimally in an alkaline environment.

Now get drinking! You should have had about a liter by the time you finished reading this!

There’s a place in LA, experienced by a privileged, petrified few, that’s run by a close Venice beach mate of mine, Frank ‘Zapper’ Jr.
Forget psychology, hypnosis, or cold turkey, Frank’s never been one for conventional methods; he prefers a more prongs-on approach.
‘Friends’ of Frank know he’s there for them when they need A REAL shock to the system to spark change – with my new class I’m bringing it across the pond to you and your buddy, who will need to work as a team as quickly as possible to prevent going to Zap and back. Fear, used right, is an unparalleled motivator – Keep checking here for further details of the most electrifying work out around.

The Exception to the Rule

Granny

This is my ‘Great’ Aunt Lil. She sent me this little picture last week to rub my face in it. Lil has never had time for what I do; she’s always telling me exercise and a healthy lifestyle is a waste of time. But I don’t believe ol’ Lil made a century without doing some serious exercise on the sly – look at the size of those fingers; she’s been doing my Hands-On Hands program for starters.

What’s Up Doc?

Doc

A local Doc came to me this week to see if I could help him come up with a new campaign to try and combat the growing problem of obesity amongst his patients. He said he wanted something subtle, motivating and that would kick-start change. I came up with the above. The Doc had some initial doubts, but as soon as we ironed them out in a headlock deadlock he loved it. Good luck Doc – let me know how it goes.

Nothing To Be Embarrassed About.

When Becky came to me, complaining of regularly feeling light headed I knew I had to take serious action. I built her this special machine which not only helps keep her arms, stomach and lower back in top shape, but most importantly, keeps the blood in her brain.

She might be a local laughing stock, but despite a notably redder face, Becky wants everyone to know she isn’t remotely embarrassed. She feels great!

Puff Daddy

Puff Daddy

Wei came to me wanting to get fitter in the hope it may help find him a job. During Wei’s warm up breathing exercises I spotted an irregularity which I turned in to an opportunity – Now I push Wei to the max every time, making sure he leaves me ‘breathing’ heavy.

Knowing that Wei passes ‘Balloon Monsoon’ on his way home, I put the two in touch. At his most exhausted, Wei can now blow up 72 balloons in 4 minutes. They’re chuffed with his puff and are only too happy to pay for it. ‘Wee’ Wei’s makin’ some serious mon-wei.

For When Things Get A Little Choppy Out There.

row row

I’m thinking of starting a new rowing machine class. But first we need to define rowing. ‘Rowing’ means different things to different people here in the UK. But I reckon the two don’t have to be mutually exclusive!

With my new class, I want to give warring couples a chance to row whilst they row. And with the ‘rowing rowing’ machines placed opposite each other, couples can keep meeting in the middle for a more intense ‘shout off’.

Finally a class that let’s you get the stuff off your chest, but also your arms and legs too. I can’t think of a better way to Work It Out.
